The "noble sequence of wooded and gardened squares ...

form[s] the glory of the city"

- William Dean Howell

Today, midst the beautifully preserved architecture and history, it is perhaps the greenery of our squares that helps Savannah stand out the most. Join us on a two-hour walk through some of Savannah's most beautiful green spaces as you learn the history, uses, and lore of Savannah's plant life.

Along the way, encounter wonderful examples of Savannah's ironwork and see how the artists were inspired by their natural surroundings.
